This reminds me of being at our cottage and the "calm before the storm". Everything is still and calm. The clouds slowly roll in as the sky darkens. A powerful storm will set in and the calm changes to chaos.

Reminds me of the early morings in Algonquin Park. It's amazing how early little kids will wake up in "the wild".
I predict that the tranquility of the lake will be disrupted by an angry lake monster.
